After graduating from Captain Shreve High School in 1970, Bro. Roberson furthered his education by enrolling into Mississippi Valley State University. While in college Bro. Roberson was a member of the Marching Band’s “Notorious Drum Line.” Also, while at Valley State Bro. Roberson started his journey with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., the greatest Fraternity on the Planet. Bro. Roberson, aka Rooster along with nine other line brothers who were known as the “Atrocious Ten” was ceremoniously inducted into the Fraternity on December 10, 1971, through the Beta Theta Undergraduate Chapter. During his time at Valley State Bro. Roberson was a Marching Band Scholarship recipient, exhibited outstanding leadership skills, served as Student Union Board President, and was a member of the Student Government Association. Bro. Roberson graduated from Mississippi Valley State with a Political Science Degree in 1974. Bro. Roberson is also a Life Member with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He is also a Bridge Builder dedicated to social change, and civic engagement through his love of service by way of his Fraternity. As a member of the Mu Mu Nu Graduate Chapter aka the North Houston Ques Bro. Roberson participated in mandated programs such as the Fatherhood and Mentoring program and VREM which stands for Voter Registration, Education, and Mobilization. Finally, as recent as the fiscal year 2020-2021 Bro. Roberson was voted Omega Man of the Year by Mu Mu Nu Chapter.
